How do I stop scrolling on a 42 inch Dell Plasma HDTV??

Plasma HDTV 1 Comment »

I have had the scroll since day one and cannot get rid of it. I recently put in a very expensive surge protector thinking it would help and the scroll is still there. It's not a very heavy line, but it is noticible. The scroll always starts at the bottom and goes to the top. HELP!!!

If you've had this from day one, then bring it back to Dell. This isn't supposed to be happening and has nothing to do with a surge protector.

how do i get the best tv veiwing out of my HDTV plasma?

I just bought a plasma but the rental property I moved into has no cable to connect to the tv/ no antenna on the roof nor does it have a dish. I'm confused about what i need to install/purchase in order to get crystal clear reception on my plasma. Right now Ive just got rabbit ears with absolutley shit reception. What are my options?

Before you give-up on an indoor antenna, Radio shack has a number of different indoor antennas. I've seen good reports on them. Assuming you can return them, try a couple. I say a couple, because you will find different performance between them and the most expensive isn't necessarily the best. BTW, over the air HDTV is generally the best you can get, if you can get it, because the signal is less compressed and has gone through less processing.
If this doesn't work, then it's roof antenna, cable or satellite-whatever the rental agent will allow.

The most real answer is probably nowhere! Cost of repair is just too high to mess with.
